General Information
Welcome to the Schdule of classes for the 58th
Albury Show July 17th 2004 There
are a great number of classes that you may enter - those in Section A,
Horticulture are open to any person, whether they are a member or not, while
most the others are for members and their families only (details). If you wish to join us then you can find the
details here. For full details of the
classes in each of the Sections; A:Horticulture,
B:Homecrafts, C:Childrens and D:Floral Arrangement, please click on the links at
the top. How do I enter? Members should have an entry form
delivered to them with the printed Show Scheule, however you can now submit
your entry forms electronically in a number of ways:
If you need a form or have a query about the show, then
the best person to contact is the show secretary,
Bob Brown.
Scoring Each class is awarded with a first, second and third
prize (at the judges discretion ), and these are awarded cash prizes. However
there are also a good number of plates, cups and 'special' prizes for the
various sections. You are allowed to enter as many classes as you wish, and if
you're going to win the horticulture sections you'd better start planning
early! Details of all of the prizes and awards can be found
here. Remember that some of the medals are for total
points in a class - so the more you enter the more chance you have of
winning. For the best chance of winning a class please make sure you
understand how it is to be judged, try reading the rules
and regs and the notes in the schedule carefully. We will also be trying to
post hints and tips on this website whenever we can, and finally feel free to
ask ! The full rules
and regulations for what's allowed and what's not are to be found
here. |
